Followed by an application filed by Ukraine on 26 March, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) today, issued a notice to the Russian Federation to argue before the Court in a public hearing to be conducted on seventh and eighth March to decide on the provisional measures prayed by Ukraine alleging grave allegations of Genocide levelled against Russian Federation.
The notice is issued under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
The verbal arguments will begin at 10:00 hrs and conclude at 13:00 hrs on both days.
The hearings will be streamed live on Video on Demand (VOD) in English and French on the Court’s website and United Nations (UN) Web Television (TV).
