London Mass Protest : Anguished Protestors hit streets over Sarah Everard's Murder Incident

Amid prevailing pressure to bring Sarah Everard's murderer to justice, tens and thousands of people are marching on the streets of London this evening.



Everard, 33 while returning from a friends place in Clapham, South London suddenly disappeared on March 3. Only on March 12, the Metropolitan Police confirmed that the body found was that of Everard.


Everard, a marketing professional was originally from New York, America.


The women all across the United Kingdom have gathered courage to stand against the culprit of the gruesome murder and also extended their solace to the loved ones of Everard.


The Scotland Yard Specialist Crime Command (SYSCC) been conducting the investigation in this matter.


The SYSCC over the last 10 days searched more than 750 homes in South London in the ongoing probe.


Wayne Couzens, a Police Officer has been arrested on the suspicion of Everards murder. Couzens is charged with kidnapping and murder by the Metropolitan Police.


Mark Drakefort, Wales’s First Minister said, “People should ignite a fire for change.”


The Crown Prosecution Service has given its go ahead to continue with Couzens trial.


The Police on Saturday did not let people mourn at Clapham Common on a plea of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and allegedly exceeded its powers by handcuffing women while they raised slogans, “Shame on You.”


Witnessing all such repeated chaos, Priti Patel, Home Secretary, UK has asked the Police to furnish a report pertaining to the incident happened on Saturday.


Couzens will be produced before the Central Criminal Court tomorrow.
