The residents of Pant Nagar in East Ghatkopar, Mumbai got five criminal cases registered against Shraddha Skyline Developers today.
The residents alleged that the developer has committed criminal breach of trust, failed to deliver the property and cheating with common intent.
Their ordeal came to end after meeting the Commissioner of Police Sanjay Pandey, Indian Police Service (IPS) who after patiently hearing the residents came to a conclusion to give directions to his subordinate police officers to register such cases under sections 405, 415, 420 and 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Pandey has a reputation of an upright police officer. He is an alumni of Indian Institute of Technology and Harvard Kennedy School.
According to the current status of the developer, Shraddha Skyline Developers is a partnership firm registered at Mumbai in 2016. Its partners are Rakesh Ramkripal Mishra, Haresh Vakhtavermal Jain, Ankit Pradip Chopra and Neeta Devendra Dharamshi.
According to the Confederation of Real Estate Developer’s Association of India (CREDAI) report, India is rated as one of the most corrupt nations of the world where the real estate industry is rated as one of the biggest contributors to the cases of deceit and swindling.
